Lindal Cedar Home on HGTV
A
Lindal custom cedar home was featured on HGTV's "What You Get for the
Money." The episode first aired April 5th, 2006 at 10:30 PM (segment
#313). Each episode tells the personal stories of six homeowners around
the country, investigates varied lifestyles and explores communities while
boldly answering the invasive question: "How much did that cost?"
The main showcase of this home is the
"wall of windows"—50 feet wide and 35 feet tall—that frames a spectacular
view of the Sunday River and ski slopes. This "Smart Home" also features
video surveillance—not just of the home itself, but of the surrounding
area—so the homeowner can check ski conditions from their primary
residence in Rhode Island before they even leave! Radiant heating in the
decks and driveway ensures they never have to shovel snow when they
arrive.
Join these proud Lindal homeowners as
they show you their chef's kitchen with concrete countertops and rolling
dining table that doubles as a breakfast bar. The custom cherry "ski
lockers" for the kids and cedar liner throughout the rest of the home
display their love for wood and natural surfaces, which blends with the
natural beauty of the landscape surrounding the home.
